The project included a new roundabout at the junction of Longfield, improvements to Eastway, the addition of cycle and pedestrian facilities and two signal-controlled crossings.
Main Contractor Eric Wright awarded Altitude Services the contract to provide the street lighting and traffic signs element, which included over 40 new lighting columns and 60 signs.
Works commenced in October 2016 with completion in Spring 2017.
