Altitude Services Limited has been awarded the Yew Tree Drive Street Lighting Works contract by Blackburn with Darwen Council.
The scheme will see the upgrade of critical infrastructure along a key dual carriageway route, including the replacement of 100 lighting columns, associated ducting works, and DNO supply transfers. The project is designed to enhance both safety and reliability for road users, while bringing the existing network up to modern standards.
Construction is scheduled to commence in May 2026 and will be delivered in four carefully planned phases to maintain safe traffic flow and minimise disruption to the travelling public.
