Altitude Services gain full accreditation as an ICP to carry out live unmetered connections.

During the early part of 2013 Altitude Services applied to Lloyds of London, the administrators of the National Electricity Registration Scheme (NERS) seeking accreditation to the NERS scheme.  Once accredited, we could become an approved Independent Connections Provider (ICP).

This was a key step in our aim to become a ‘one stop shop’ solution for our clients, enabling us to deliver lighting schemes from inception, through design and construction to connection and handover, completely independently.

Lloyds NERS auditors visited our premises in the early part of last year to carry out rigorous auditing of our Electrical Management System, focusing primarily on competency and skills.

Following the office based audits and assessments we achieved partial accreditation. In September 2013 the final audit took place on site, where we were observed undertaking several new connections, transfers and disconnections to the live network.

We are pleased to announce that as a result of this rigorous process Altitude Services have now been awarded full accreditation in Low Voltage non-metered connection works.
